States of Awaiting

 

In my creative process, I explore entities wanting to come into being. Between notion and will, obscurity and prominence. Some of the paintings, drawings and graphic artworks that are displayed here are not yet finished.

 

I studied to become a graphic artist at Grafikskolan in Stockholm, after art history studies at Stockholm University and one year of general studies in arts and crafts at Nyckelviksskolan. During the last few years, I have started to work more with oil paint, often involving other materials that create structure, cracks and shapes.

 

Over the years I’ve had different commissions as designer of theatre posters, and I have sold graphic works to art associations. I have been represented at Liljevalchs Vårsalong, and I have organised both solo and joint exhibitions.
